TAY NINH TOURISM CONFERENCE 2017

Scazma was one of the main speakers at TAY NINH INVESTMENT CONFERENCE of 2017. The event attracted both national and international guests working in the field of tourism who were interested by the high potential that Tay Ninh province represents. Scazma's speech focused on the need to respect nature and develop wellness tourism.

BINH THUAN INVESTMENT CONFERENCE 2017

Scazma was one of the main speakers at BINH THUAN INVESTMENT CONFERENCE of 2017. Hundreds of people attended the conference that was led by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

After 4 years of intense work on Phum Baitang, the resort we developed in Cambodia with Paris studio AW2, has opened to the public and won the Asia Hotel Design of the Year award.

Phum Baitang was named by Corinne, the founder of Scazma, and it means 'green village' in Khmer. The resort won the top prize at the Asia Hotel Design Awards, which were held today (10 March 2017) at The South Beach hotel in Singapore, with over 400 industry figures from the region in attendance. Phum Baitang – which was also named the Resort of the Year – is made of 45 spacious, stilted, wooden villas traditionally built on eight acres of lush gardens and paddy fields in a village-like cluster. An old farm house has been restored as a lounge with a stone spa temple – featuring seven treatment rooms, a sauna and a yoga pavilion – which echoes the design of the neighboring world heritage temples of Angkor Wat. Phum Baitang won the Asian Hotel Design award for spa and wellness. The Cigar & Cocktail Bar won the award for best bar as well. Prizes at the ceremony were handed out to architects and designers in 11 categories. The resort is owned and operated by the Zannier family.

Dedicated to women of the year, the Golden Women WHIRLPOOL Trophy which is decided by 300 French personalities was awarded in the Business category to Corinne, the founder of Scazma.

The other prize winners were Estelle HALLIDAY (Fashion), Patricia KAAS (Show Business), Christine OCKRENT (Communication), Isabelle PATISSIER (Sport), Bettina RHEIMS (Art) and Isabelle AUTISSER (Sport Super Trophy).
